OUR GOALS FOR 2026

We want you to know what your support has meant—and to ask for your continued help as we approach our 2026 goals! We’re excited about how we continue to refresh our spaces and engage 21stcentury audiences with Granville’s rich history.

Visitors to the GHS will notice many recent improvements, from fresh paint to new displays, audio/visual enhancements, and security systems, plus a garden refresh featuring native plants. These upgrades—along with our operating expenses—have been possible thanks to annual fund donations from community members like you. But our vision isn’t complete. With the America 250 celebration on the horizon, there will be renewed focus on history, and we want to make exploring Granville’s past even more exciting.

We’ve set several goals for 2026, with the theme of modernizing and professionalizing our exhibits, and we invite you to help make them a reality. These include:

• Marking America 250 with a permanent lobby display featuring a timeline of Granville history and the GHS’s milestones through the years.
• Interactive display kiosks with new soware and programming.
• Systems to implement exhibit audio for richer storytelling.
• Display systems for more artifacts—stands, cases, and units.
• Supplies to build and maintain our growing archives and collections.
